I’m Sergiu, the photographer behind Photolight, and family photography is my passion. I believe the most valuable images are those that tell an honest story — the unscripted moments you live now and will feel again in years to come. My motto is “keep memories alive,” and that guiding principle shapes every session I shoot. I specialise in documentary family photography: I observe, I wait, and I capture natural gestures — the bonds between parents and children, a newborn’s shy smile, or spontaneous play among little ones. My style is simple, clean and pressure-free — no “say cheese,” no forced posing — so each photograph reflects the true emotion of the moment. I work with patience and empathy so children feel free to be themselves and parents can simply enjoy being together. How does a collaboration with Photolight work? Before the session we talk about the location and atmosphere you want — at home, in a park, or another place that represents your family. On the day I stay close but discreet: I document the action, search for the right light and look for moments that bring your story to life. After the session, the images undergo careful editing to preserve a natural tone and ensure each photo conveys feeling. Delivery is via a private online gallery that’s easy to access and share with relatives. Beyond family sessions, I photograph newborns, babies, birthday sessions and other important family milestones. I live in Pitești and travel across Romania for projects that deserve a beautiful visual story.
